St. Pere Pescador Beach is located on the north-est coast of Barcelona, Spain.
It is a 20km fully sanded beach (of which the last 3kms are kitesurfing allowed area) with clear blue waters and side-on winds from the south-East blowing through the Alyseus wind session which runs form March til mid October.
The spot is very uncrowded and offers lots of different conditions depending on the time of the wind session you go. Great & safe spot for beginner as well as for experienced riders. Sometimes nice waves can be riden.

Directions:

• From south France: drive in direction of Fiueres, then follow for Empuriabrava. At the roundabout turn to St. Pere Pescador.
• Air: flight to Barcellona Girona international airport (cheaper flights!). Then follow for Figueres, Empuriabrava, St. Piere.
• Public transport: Take a train to Figueres and a bus to St. Pere Pescador.

Beach rules:

Respect the kite zone. It’s forbidden to ride between july & august – but police says nothing at all – there about 100 kiters in july & august

in summer temperatures can reach up to 36°C

Wind details:

in Summer blows mostly a thermical wind 13-20 kts onshore as it gets hot in the afternoon (12.30h 18.00h). SE is the best wind. North wind (tramontana) is gusty.
